Old Parsonage of Andrew Tribble The log parsonage of Pioneer Kentucky preacher Andrew Tribble 1794, friend to Thomas Jefferson

History and current life of the old log parsonage built by pioneer Baptist minister Andrew Tribble in1794. Tribble was a friend who influenced the thinking of Thomas Jefferson. In Madison County near Tates Creek, Tribble built the "Stone Meeting House”; this church burned in 1850 and the congregation moved to Boonesborough Road to build the Republic Church and later the Tates Creek Baptist Churc

h. The parsonage was moved to Boonesborough Road and reconstructed into a Kentucky History Museum by Nathan Amster in 1967.

I am willing to host a Tribble Reunion for Andrew Tribble descendants on Thursday night June 5 at 5:00 pm. It will be a catered dinner by reservation. This is the night before the big 250th Anniversary of Fort Boonesborough. But, I will need you to spread the word. Let me know if you are interested.
