What an unforgettable evening at yesterday’s Decades of Rock & HomeTown Rocks benefit concert for the Revere History Museum! Decades of Rock planned the event and did an amazing job bringing it all together, and HomeTown Rocks had a wonderful time performing as a group. We want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who came out, supported the museum, and made it such a fantastic night. Lined up from left to right in the photo are Jim Fabiano, Joe Merullo, Chuck Vitale (co-founder of HomeTown Rocks), Bob Nesom (co-founder of HomeTown Rocks), and Joni Scimone. Jim, Joe, and Joni are featured in the museum's HomeTown Rocks exhibit. Thank you all again for a truly great time!

RIP to a local legend.

We at HomeTown Rocks are saddened to hear of the passing of Revere's own Frederick Anthony Picariello, Jr., known professionally as pop star Freddy "Boom Boom" Cannon.
Born: Dec 4, 1936 Died: July 17, 2026 (89 years)
Freddy sang on tons of national hit records and appeared numerous times on Dick Clark's American Bandstand. He is prominently featured at our exhibit.
We'd like to say that we got to know him a little bit over the last year and a half through our Revere rock and roll history research.
Rest in Peace Freddy.

Reminder that this opens tonight and will be open through the weekend!!!

Tonight the museum opens at 6:30, Friday the 17th the museum will be open 4 to 7, and Saturday and Sunday from 10 to 2.
