Rest In Peace to Betty White who has passed away 19 days before her 100th birthday. When World War II broke out, she put her career on hold and volunteered for the American Women's Voluntary Services. Her assignment included the transportation of military supplies through California. She also participated in events for troops before they were deployed overseas. Many soldiers considered her a pin up and enjoyed her company. www.theWWIIRifle.com

Glorious weekend at our favorite war museum, American Heritage Museum! We had a blast hosting a vintage car parade and special guest appearance from Al Capone!
