Combing through the archives at the History Center is always a rewarding adventure. Discovered today is a painting by Thomas Britt in 2011 of a quaint scene of the Market at the Marquee. Coincidentally the first market day of the season is Sunday, June 21.

Current Ghost Sign on the east side of Telegraph just south of W. Chicago. Who remembers this building as a tile shop? Members of the historical commission remember this building as a surplus, discount store, Lover's Lane and UltraGreen Hydroponics. Was it built as a tile shop or was it something before that? Please comment what you know.
