Bad Apples opens today. A primary school teacher accidentally locks her most disruptive student in her home. Desperate to undo it, she hesitates when her class begins to flourish in the child's absence, landing her in an impossible predicament. The film asks for a leap of faith with the basic premise of this dark comedy thriller. The "The Marching Band" film marches onto Plimoth Cinema's screen today. This equally hilarious and affecting crowd-pleaser presents a touching story that celebrates how music brings people together in spite of their differences. A world renowned orchestra conductor in Paris is suffering the need for a compatible medical implant. In his search for a donor he discovers a brother he never knew. The brother, a cafeteria worker, plays trombone in a local marching band. In spite of their very different life experiences they both share a strong musical talent and that plays the important part of this story.
