in the works with stikman.... a hand-rusted steel multiple in a stone base (black granite). 18 inches high mounted on a 13 x 4 x 1.25 inch long base, and 3/8 inch thick metal. These will be in an edition of 7 plus 2 aps and will most likely become a new series, as the first edition is almost fully committed to. Please inquire.

WP GALLERY is excited to present our next exhibition with two Philadelphia-based process Artists,  Laura Sallade and Collin McEachran.  "META-PHYSICAL" opens to the public on April 27th, 2024.

These notable Artists allow their process to dictate the formation of an image. Using intuitive mark making; relying on their knowledge of materials; and acting and reacting; their work comes to life. Their result brings about reflective thoughts of our constant changing modern landscape.

Collin creates abstract paintings using modern materials and self-fabricated tools. His unique methods and raw movements evoke surrealist emotions in ethereal landscapes. 

Laura incorporates mirrored surfaces and chemical processes to create two-dimensional sculptures. Her material, fluid forms, and color are; familiar, comfortable, almost nurturing. Medicinal energy found in light and reflection. Dream-like visions of multilayered materials that are as much objects as they are works on paper. 

Please join us for an informal reception for the Artists on Saturday, April 27th from 6:30 - 9:30 pm.

A pre-view will be available from 5-6 pm, if you want to see the show early and meet the artists to discuss their processes in art.

He takes pride in his knowledge of the history, the hobo culture and of the different lines that run throughout the country.** Recently featured in Roger Gastman’s “Rolling Like Thunder”, Faves is a true historian. This passion is demonstrated in his precise documentation of these metal giants. Whether through photography or paintings of their weathered surface, his sensitive comprehension is apparent.
