Just a super proud moment as I break fast today. My first personal fast completed in its entirety in the way I committed to God. I was steadfast in the area of sacrifice but have a ways to go with the commitment of time spent in prayer & meditation daily. Y’all know I don’t miss a Devotion, but I am learning that God also want to be heard, and not just talked to (at).

Cheers! From this Bible & Art Geek. Which is so fitting because God is the first Artist…. Don’t get me started.

Byeeee off to have wine for the first time in a long time 🥰

Gloraaaaay.

I’ve come to learn that Glory is one of my absolute favorite words, period. But in particularly in the context of God.

One of the countless benefits of consistent time spent with God and in God’s word is the Revelation that matures and spouts up on you unexpectedly like a breath of air - entering your body. The flow, the Holy Spirit in flow (or flight) will anchor you and move you all at the same time. And beautifully gift you with random insight and understanding.

For this first time when reading… your burden is light. I didn’t hear it as a description of its “weight” - it seems almost too obvious of a conclusion for a God who is word. For the first time I heard, your burden IS light - meaning having light inside of you, a light the world needs can be a burden. A burden each of us received along with the Holy Spirit.

Took the kiddos out in the beautiful sun for some shots this morning. We have a huge stock of these guys we’ve been painting and pouring into the past few months- a whole gang of them, but we are navigating how to best add them online for you all browse because they are each one-of-one, and give you something different from every angle. So.. for now, they are soaking up some sun.

And we have this new color collection with dark moody colors and blacks that have stole my heart 🖤

Can’t wait to get them up for purchase

Classes begin Saturday October 8th, but Registration Opens this Monday, August 1st. There will be an early bird special that you don’t want to miss.

Thank You for allowing me contribute the artwork for this article. The research period I spent for this piece was taught my about the city I heart, way beyond what I could’ve planned for or was prepared for.

It’s an honor to artistically touch such complicated stories about the people of my city.

I (we) absolutely LOVE - we are closing in on a decade of working with this amazing organization, and they are a whole vibe! I am blessed to know them and even more thankful to get to stand in their ranks. It’s a lifestyle and for a lifetime! ❤️
