It was a little wicked being inside the mill during this last storm. When we came out you can see the damage all around it and the area. And with the direction and intensity of the rain, there was a bunch of water that found its way inside the mill! We’re still assessing if any items were damaged. 😢.

These are more items that we received from Rodney Albers of Mt Horeb, WI.
His parents, Richard and Roscella Albers, were lifetime residents of Peotone. The Reverend(s) Plassman (father and son) were ministers at Immanuel United Church of Christ for 2 generations. Roscella was confirmed in 1934 and Rodney was confirmed in 1965. The last picture is of the ribbon from the 125th Anniversary of the church.

We received a package from Rodney Albers, who lives in Wisconsin. It had some really historic things in it and we’re happy to get it. What do you think this 1st item is? We’ll post the answer tomorrow

It’s a beautiful day to stop in and visit with Gary Hudson at the mill.
