Some of our members rode in the 2026 Oktoberfest lighted parade this year! First picture Mark Brown is driving Martha Moran’s 1929 Ford that was gifted to Manteno Historical Society! Passenger is Cindy Simmons and in the rumble seat is Gale Dodge. Second picture is Mark Brown’s 1928 Ford driven by his son Matthew Brown with his mom Donna Brown as passenger! The Manteno Historical society Citizens of the Year were in the Manteno 2026 Oktoberfest lighted parade last night! Seated in front is Dawn Lamore who rode in honor of her father Franklin Weber one of our citizens of the year who sadly passed away a few months ago! In the back of the car is our other citizen of the year Ken Wenzel with his wife Barb!! Thanks to Jake Lamore for capturing these photos!
