It's time to find out the answer to last week's trivia question!

Before it was Pensacola, Don Tristan de Luna called it something else. What was it?

A) Arellano
B) Ochuse
C) Veracruz

If you guessed B) Ochuse, you were correct!

In the late 1600s, Ochuse was changed to Panzacola, named after the local native Panzacola Indian tribe.

In the late 1700s, the British changed it to the current spelling, Pensacola.

Pretty cool, huh?
