SATURDAY, OCTOBER 3RD! Join us for our Adult/Teen Workshop: Making Zines with the 309 Punk Project! 309 Punk Project

This is an informative hands-on workshop focused on a few zine-making techniques, specifically collaborative zines and mini-zines. Students will learn a bit about the history of zines as well as current incarnations we will make together that may incorporate drawing, collage, and stamping. Students will leave with two zines: one that is made collaboratively by the workshop participants and a mini-zine of their own!

All materials and supplies are included in the cost. Workshop participants are welcome to bring stickers, stamps, or paper clippings to incorporate if desired

This workshop is designed for adults and teens. No previous experience is necessary! Pre-registration is required at least 24 hours in advance.

Next Saturday, September 19, join us for an artist talk with STEAM2026 Artist and judge of this year's The Members Show, Pippin Frisbie-Calder! Pippin Frisbie-Calder

The talk begins at 11AM at the Pensacola Museum of Art. This event is all ages and free and open to the public!

Pippin Frisbie-Calder is a printmaker and environmentalist whose practice combines science and art to create interactive experiences for audiences. Her installations simultaneously immerse viewers in the beauty of our natural environments and confront them with forces that imperil our planet. Frisbie-Calder holds degrees in printmaking from Tulane University, MFA, and Rhode Island School of Design, BFA. Frisbie-Calder’s work has recently been exhibited at the Ohr-O’Keefe Museum, New Orleans Contemporary Art Center, Southeastern Louisiana University, Capitol Park Museum, University of West Florida, Urban Institute for Contemporary Art, Waterfall Arts and Biennale Internationale d’estampe contemporaine.

The Members Show is an annual juried exhibition open to all Pensacola Museum of Art members. Our founders introduced this exhibition during the art center’s first year as a way to honor and celebrate the relationship between local artists and the institution. The show has become a deeply-rooted tradition that highlights the creativity and talent of our museum community.

New exhibition coming soon to our second floor galleries!

STEAM2026 highlights themes of exploration and wonder through investigative contemporary art, interdisciplinary fields of study, and unique collaborations. This national exhibition is a community-centered experience that integrates multifaceted art practices with science, new technologies, and thought-provoking research. Submit your artwork online for our 72nd Annual Members Show: Small Format Edition!

The Members Show is an annual juried exhibition open to all Pensacola Museum of Art members. This year we celebrate the 72nd Annual Members Show by asking artists to submit works no larger than 14 inches in any dimension [(72nd) 7x2=14]. The call is open to all media, both 2D and 3D. Standard presentation devices like pedestals, mats, and frames that are not considered part of the work of art are not limited by the 14" criteria.
