In this video, I’m showing you the difference between suet fat and regular fat trimmings and explaining why I choose to grind the suet myself.

For my tallow balms, I use suet—the soft, nutrient-rich fat surrounding the kidneys—because I believe it makes a beautiful, creamy tallow for skincare.

I also grind the suet myself so I can carefully inspect what goes into every batch from the very beginning.

Small details matter when you make everything by hand. 🤍

I wanted to share a little behind the scenes of how I make your Aga’s Pure tallow balm.

From carefully rendering and filtering the suet to whipping, filling, labeling, and preparing each jar, I take my time with every batch.

I personally check every jar before it leaves my hands because I want you to receive the same quality I would want for my own family.

This is handmade skincare, made slowly, carefully, and with love.
