Gamble Plantation Preservation Alliance, Inc. GPPA is a support organization for the State Park, which provides financial assistance for specific We're located on Patten Ave, off of U.S. 301 Blvd.

Gamble mansion is the only surviving antebellum Plantation House in South Florida. Its Greek Revival Vernacular architecture is unique in the South as is its ingenious freshwater collection system.

The Mansion is decorated for America 250! Thank you to the GPPA President Gail Jessee and her husband Thomas for coming out in the sweltering heat and even a little rain to decorate! Please come see and take a tour, more decorations are in the rooms! Another surprise is coming later in the month, look for another post!

Some new happenings around the park. We had our gutter system on the north end of the mansion replaced with a copper gutter to be more historically correct.  The previous aluminum gutter was torn off in hurricane Milton. Hurricane Milton also destroyed the park gazebo that was installed in the 70s. We are getting a brand new one installed this week. Weather permitting.

One of the ways that the Gamble Plantation Preservation Alliance helps the park is with equipment and equipment repair! Several years ago, the GPPA purchased this cart for the park. It was time to replace the batteries so the GPPA upgraded them with a lithium battery system. Now the cart works good as new. Making your donations count.!
