I started creating a painting this weekend after being inspired by the birds at the Brevard Zoo. I have not been painting the past few weeks. As a creative, that’s just not my happy place. These colorful birds, gave me such joy. I watched them fly all around and was amazed at how many bright colors filled my eyes, my heart, and my soul. It was healing, peaceful and awe inspiring. So I grabbed a canvas and spread that joy with each brush stroke. Here’s my creation this far along with some pictures I took of these colorful birds I’m so in love with💕

Golden Arbor by ViaMelia caught the attention of Linda when she was having lunch with family at Dixie Crossroads today. She was overjoyed to call us, and we could hear the excitement in her voice over the phone. Rumor has it that the piece was coveted by others, but Linda is the one who took it home. In her own words: "when there's a will, there's a way!"
