BREVARD COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE MEMBERS PARTICIPATE IN MELBOURNE 4TH OF JULY PARADE

Earlier today approximately 100 members of the Brevard County Sheriff's Office volunteered to participate in the 4th of July Parade that took place in downtown Melbourne. The event drew thousands of patriotic spectators who each demonstrated their passion and love for our great nation.

It was truly humbling to hear the applause and support from our community as our team members walked and rode throughout the parade handing out ice pops to the children in attendance. Along the parade route our community got a chance to meet members of our agency from various units, watch our BCSO Motor Unit put on a skills exhibition, pet some of our bloodhounds, view some of our adoptable pets from our Animal Care Center, and even witness our Mounted Posse proudly displaying our United States Flag.

I would like to personally thank all of our members and their families who joined us for today's 4th of July celebration and also thank our amazing community for all of their support and trust in our agency. We are truly blessed to serve in a community where our citizens partner with us every day to make sure Brevard County is a awesome place to call home!!
