A 501c3 nonprofit is working hard to raise the funds necessary to save Melbourne's Bridge To The Past by purchasing and renovating Green Gables. This 126 year old historical Queen-Ann style home of inventor and early Melbourne Florida resident, William T. Wells, his wife, Nora Stanford Wells and their family is located near downtown and one of the last waterfront properties.
