About the Paine Art Center and Gardens:

The Paine is a historic estate that serves as a multi-faceted museum for learning and inspiration. The museum preserves the mansion, surrounding architectural structures, and many of the interiors as they were created by founders Nathan and Jessie Kimberly Paine. Selections from the museum’s art collection, much of which was acquired by Nathan and Jessie, are featured in the many rooms and settings of the estate. Outdoors, the Paine maintains and enhances numerous display gardens as “galleries” of horticulture with varied designs and thousands of plant specimens. In addition, the museum presents a wide variety of changing art exhibitions, from historical to contemporary, within the estate’s galleries and gardens. The Studio, located on the house’s lower level, offers “hands on” activities about architecture, art, and gardens for people of all ages.

Last week we asked you to take a guess at what we had in the works to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Nutcracker in the Castle...

If you guessed "humungous Christmas tree you can walk through" you were right! Our staff finished installing a 40-foot Christmas tree late last week, and it is a sight to behold! We can't wait for you to see it twinkling at night with a snowy backdrop🎄🌟

We're joining the "magenta for Menasha" movement to help Menasha Bluejay Football get a win!

The team's stadium was destroyed in the tornado that tore through the Fox Valley in July. They are competing for a chance to win $1 million from T-Mobile and are in first place! However, they need our community's help to stay there. There are just two days of voting left!

Little signs of autumn are starting to appear in the Paine gardens! 🍂

The giant sugar maple has begun its final fanfare of the season. Over the next month, the tree will transform into a glorious showcase of gold, orange, and red, bringing spectacular color to the estate.
