📣 Calling all Creatives! 📣 Factory Obscura is seeking submissions for our 2027 Future of Sound Sessions, a one-of-a-kind showcase that brings together musicians and artists from all disciplines to create immersive, collaborative live shows that are unlike any other.

We’re seeking proposals from local bands, musicians, visual artists, dancers, sculptors, designers, and creatives from all backgrounds. If you have a concept for a live collaboration that’s out of the box, genre bending, or completely unclassifiable, we want to see it.

Proposals will be reviewed on a rolling basis until all dates are filled.

Trick-or-Treat with the neighbors on 9th Street during our next Nights on 9th, happening Saturday, October 24th, 5-8pm!

Visit all the 9th Street businesses for sweet treats (no tricks!), plus the South Side Sleds car club will take over the Iguana Mexican Grill parking lot for a trunk-or-treat featuring classic and custom cars.

👉 COSTUME CONTEST will take place at 6:30pm, with three age group categories and prizes from local Automobile Alley businesses.

PLUS: find Halloween-themed specials in the neighborhood:
🚗 Trunk-or-Treat on 9th Street with classic and custom cars from South Side Sleds in the Iguana Mexican Grill parking lot, alongside a live DJ with karaoke and a costume contest (with prizes!) at 6:30pm.

🤩 Show up in costume at Factory Obscura for $2 off Mix-Tape tickets! Plus, trick-or-treating on the front porch with live outdoor theremin performance by Maggie Abel with Oklahoma Theremin Society.

👑 Still need your last-minute costume ideas? Become an “instant princess” at Patted, where every in-store purchase comes with a free tiara (while supplies last)! Plus, trick-or-treat for pink candy.

🍹 At S&B's Burger Joint, catch a fall-themed pop-up cocktail menu and special fall-flavored milkshake. All kids in costume eat for $1.99 with purchase of an adult entree! Shop pop-up vendors outdoors while you trick-or-treat and enjoy the Halloween vibes.

💀 NASHBIRD will be all decked out for Halloween, plus kids eat free with the purchase of an adult entree.

🎃 Paint a pumpkin and trick-or-treat at Created and Found Shop! (Stop by nearby neighbors Urbane Home & Lifestyle for an indoor pumpkin patch.)

🍬 The Floating Bookshop open until 8pm with trick-or-treating!

Meet the artists who will send shivers down your spine on Halloween night at 💀 Uncovered: Tunes from the Crypt. 💀 Each band will reimagine popular Halloween songs, putting their own spin on familiar favorites.

👻 baileyboy is an alternative band from Norman, Oklahoma known for their energetic and emotional performances.

🦇 Burl, the eclectic indie band from Oklahoma City, has become a captivating oddity by drawing influences from a wide spectrum, including jazz fusion, exotica, yacht-rock, and post-punk.

🎃 Since 2019, Monte has performed a mix of folk, blues, shoegaze, punk, and prog rock all around the OKC Metro. Monte is comprised of singer/guitarist Noah Petrie, drummer Michael Birney, multi-instrumentalist Santana Spangler-Day, multi-instrumentalist Rachel Bandy, and guitarist Sam Stormer, all providing different musical backgrounds and influences to Monte's sound. Monte plays original “post-rock” that evokes a wide variety of rock genres. Their debut Dawn was released in August of 2021. In November 2023, the band released Sloptown, which captured the bands' turn towards more progressive and experimental sounds. Monte's new album Fledgling is out now via Mystery Class Records.

⚰ Equal parts noisy as they are tender, Strawberry ‘66 blends alternative rock and southern kitsch with honest storytelling about growing up in a small town in the middle of nowhere. Perfect for fans of Wednesday, Slow Pulp, and Indigo De Souza.

Our Full Moon Yoga sessions offer time to slow down, stretch, and expand. Led by Beth White of This Land Yoga, the class begins with time to explore the full Mix-Tape experience, followed by gentle restorative stretching, and closing with sound healing.
