Wow! What a great summer we've had! Thanks to RAMP for sponsoring 3 Free Summer Saturdays at Treehouse and for a generous grant that let us bring 3 Guest Authors in to teach week-long workshops for our older members. Thanks to Keir Graff for another awesome Writing Boot Camp experience, to Daniel Miyares for the best Zine making class ever, and to James Kennedy for making movies with us that were so much fun to film and to watch. And it's not over yet. We have the annual Pirate Party at Treehouse coming up on Saturday, August 29 and we're open summer hours through that day. Come and join the fun at Treehouse!

It's our wonderful, annual celebration of books this Saturday, May 1. We have some of our very favorite authors flying in from around the country to share their books and party with us at the Tales at Treehouse Children's Book Festival from 1 to 4:30 p.m. Best of all, it's free for your family! During the morning we're closed to the public so that we can offer small group workshops with the authors that are also free. These are perfect for aspiring writers (ages 10 and up), teachers, and librarians. To sign up for the workshops just call us at 801-528-4708.
