Local Language develops custom art and design programs for the hospitality, healthcare, and corporate and retail markets. Our art department works with an extensive network of artists around the globe to source, commission and create for each local project. We maintain an ever growing library of original artwork available for purchase or license, while our studio space promotes partnerships with B

ay Area artists. Our design department develops innovative new products and creative solutions for each specific location and project. Partnering with local artisans allows us to experiment with different materials and construction.

1,600 guestrooms. 89 suites. 500,000+ square feet of public space. 11 f&b venues. 86,000+ custom pieces across 745 different line items.

Local Language was in incredibly humbled by the faith The Carroll Adams Group and Looney & Associates placed in us to curate and create the art collection across the guestrooms, suites and public areas! It was a team effort.

We’re looking back at an amazing collaboration with The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe, where we had the privilege of bringing the surrounding landscape indoors, from sloping mountains and tranquil waters to the warmth and refinement of a luxurious lodge setting.

We’re thrilled to share that Breaching and Diving, our suspended art installation in collaboration with + , was named a winner at the 22nd annual Hospitality Design Awards.

Designed to transform the guest experience through scale, light, and motion, this installation creates an immersive moment of wonder. We are so proud to share this recognition with our collaborators and this incredible property.
