Interested in a perennial sedum for your garden? Check out Sedum rupestre 'Angelina' in our 2020 Plant Sale. This sedum is a terrific low evergreen groundcover for sunny areas with poor dry soil. This forms a trailing mat of succulent golden-yellow leaves. Clusters of yellow starry flowers appear during the summer. When planted in containers or on a wall this develops a beautiful cascading habit.

My husband and I got married here at the Oak Park Conservatory in August. It was magical and breathtaking. Thank you so much for allowing us to rent this beautiful space for our special day. ♥️
Must go there for my Birthday
I've only visited here one time a couple of years ago. Nice, clean and well organized. Time to visit again.
My monarch garden I purchased from you guys has been successful! Meet my baby monarch, he's not cute but I'm thrilled he's here! Now to get him ready for the long flight to Mexico.
Easy to get to from Skokie...Catch the 226 on Niles Center Rd., ride to Jefferson Park CTA Station, Ride the Blue Line thru Chicago and exit at Oak Park. Walk a block East and you are there. I use my Senior RTA Reduced Fare Permit.
Yellow Bellied Slider turtle found near oak Park conservatory in oak park Illinois. Please, message me if you have lost your pet. If you could share on your page that would be amazing. I rescue reptiles and small animals
Historically...Oak Park's Ash trees did not die from Emerald Ash Borers, but because they did not live in River Forest. OP citizens will pass down stories about how Six year EAB event totals were three fold worse than Iconic 45 year Dutch elm disease disaster. While same generation family members living just across border in Galewood/Mont Claire only recall colorful tags changing tint on trees every 3 years. Otherwise oblivious to mass tree losses, and reasons why city put tags on trees. Chicago folk hearing stories about huge 135 year old stumps along bare parkways by their uncle Joe back in OP. Who knew today within a two mile walk, one could see inner structure of new environmental center crafted out of several conserved century old grained Jens Jensen woody organisms. Then see a live Jens Ash still shading city parkway at storied Sayer Ruthford park for years to come. Along with Oak Park Park District's thoughtfully Protected Jensen Elm trees, and HUGE Cottonwood at Rehm park. Enjoy!
