Do you and your pet(s) need some Halloween plans? Forbes Library has you covered 🐶

All pets (and their humans) are invited to dress up and participate in the Forbes Library Halloween Pet Parade & Costume Contest!

Bring your costumed pet to the library lawn at noon on Saturday, October 31st (no preregistration required). We will take a brief stroll around the lawn, then each pet will have their moment of fame on the Hess Performance Stage.

🏆Prizes will be available for:
Most Creative Costume
Scariest Costume
Best Literary Costume
Best Pet/Human Partner Costumes

Human costumes are not required but joyfully encouraged. (Are you a human without a pet? Come to the pet parade and cheer on your animal neighbors!)

To spark your imagination, please enjoy pictures of library staff members’ pets in their Halloween finest 👻

Safety guidelines:
Pets must be on leash (or in a stroller, backpack, cage, etc.) at all times. If a pet is behaving in a way that endangers itself, other pets, or the humans around them, staff may ask the owner and pet to leave. Please bring waste bags to pick up after your pet, if needed.
