is a photograph of Jasper County's Company B assembled on the courthouse lawn in 1917 before deploying overseas. They had just returned from riot duty in East St. Louis and camped on the courthouse lawn for two weeks. This photo was donated by Delbert Matson.

We worked with Back Roads Custom Creations LLC to design a donor wall that expresses our gratitude to those who support us and we were blown away! Thank you doesn't cut it. Be sure to contact them with your engraving projects! We'll be giving special shout outs to our donors over the next few weeks.

This project can feel like two steps forward, 10 steps back. But we're making progress! Artifacts are being sorted into collection categories and we're seeing the results of our organization efforts. We're looking forward to having the space put together enough to welcome guests!

At the end of summer Bradford's Moving & Storage, Inc. finished moving our displays from the library. We cannot say enough about the professionalism, problem solving and positive attitude that Bradford's brought to each visit. Whether you're moving displays and cabinets like us or personal items, definitely give them a call!

We're moving the rest of our cases and collection from the Library on Wednesday. Exciting!!

The Library will be closed on Wednesday, July 15th to assist with the Museum Moving Day.

We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding as we help relocate the museum collections.

The Library will reopen on Thursday, July 16th during regular hours.
