Licking Valley Heritage Society

We will collect and conserve artifacts, antiques, photographs and literature in order to educate our children and keep our history alive.

The museum will be open on Saturdays March through December from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. No Saturday hours in January and February. Please call (740) 763-4436 if you are interested in a tour on other days & times throughout the year.

The monthly meeting of the Licking Valley Heritage Society is 9 a.m. this Saturday, July 25 at Hanover Presbyterian Church on Hickman Road at the back of the building. All are welcome. Here is the class of 1945, courtesy of Gary P. Smith.

A Licking Valley Heritage Society monthly meeting is this Saturday, June 27th, at 9:00 AM. The location is at Hanover Presbyterian Church. Image: Oil wells at the George and Stella Nethers farm near Toboso ca 1918. This photo was used in the July Newsletter. Granted Richard and Sara Rose Hewitt had a copy of it in their collection. It should be known it was originally from the collection of Goldie Stevens. She salvaged all of the vintage Dewey Lebold photos of the Toboso area. This will be noted in the October newsletter for posterity.
