Legendary art center created in 1986 by Kathleen Laziza and her collaborators including pioneering broadcast video artist William Laziza. In 30 years this artist driven not for profit museum and performance art venue has shared collaborations with countless independent eclectic artists, teachers, writers, visual artists, musicians, video makers and dancers. Rarely open to the walk-in public because it is a "hive" and in a constant state of process. Look online for public opportunities to visit. Next 2 dates are scheduled for Fall 2017.

gotta say.... might be my new look when this is all past us. Maybe just not as cool as our cousin here.

Himalayas visible for first time in 30 years as pollution levels in India drop

Maybe the only “silver lining” is that earth gets a rest from all of us. Meanwhile 40 years ago I visited the edge of the Himalayas. The beauty of memory is that we can go backwards in time and to be there again.

https://www.sbs.com.au/language/english/audio/himalayas-visible-for-first-time-in-30-years-as-pollution-levels-in-india-drop

As the lockdown to stop the spread of coronavirus in India continues, pollution levels across much of the country have dropped sharply. Now some residents in northern India say they can see the snow-capped Himalayas 200 kilometres away for the first time in 30 years.

Correction: Pandemics change all the rule. In the future, we have to f-ing care about one another, our elections, our overall strategic communication, science, health and ART. Without art, image how truly awful staying inside could be. Shout out to our entertainers, artists, educators — the true stable geniuses. Medical professionals industry are still sadly #1 but Art, Education and Service industries are #2 at saving lives. Never forget how we got to this dance. Vote blue b/c your life actually depends on it.

We shared a cool graphic that highlighted covid-19 images hanging all over the air and street. I thought it illustrative. But took it down b/c it had a “you know who” 2020 attached to the post. Not gonna happen.

“This street separates my house from my parents’ house, and is typically crossed multiple times throughout the day. My 6yo daughter has an extremely close relationship with her ‘Papa,’ and they've now started daily dance-offs since the virus is keeping them separated. My Dad is 81 years old and I've never seen him dance, but he's really putting forth great effort!!!” - Sherrie Neely, via Remarkably Average Parents
