Arasapha Garden Club Arasapha Garden Club supports New Castle’s historic Amstel House and Dutch House gardens and creates 100+ wreaths for historic New Castle.

May Market is its major fundraiser. For more information visit www.arasapha.org. Founded in 1934, Arasapha has three enduring purposes. It beautifies and improves Historic New Castle by decorating the Historic District with all-natural wreaths and greens each December and by supporting regreeing the streetscape with trees. It helps maintain and improve the historic Amstel and Dutch House gardens b

y raising funds at its annual May Market. It supports local education on gardening through grants to New Castle Public Library for its gardening programs.

With books spilling right out onto the sidewalk, the Separation Day Book Sale offers a chance to 'browse on the bricks' in Historic New Castle, right in the midst of the Separation Day Festival! 🎆

Stop by before, during, or after the Parade to fill out your TBR pile for the Summer with gently-used books from a variety of genres... There are thousands of titles to choose from and most books are just a buck or two! 😎

Check this new exhibit by New Castle Historical Society in the Arsenal at Old New Castle out the next time you visit New Castle. It's a wonderful introduction to our town's 375 years of history!

Our new exhibition, "A Center of the American Experience for 375 Years" is now open at the Arsenal on the second floor! The free exhibit covers four centuries of New Castle history. It's open Thu - Sat, 9:30 am to 4:30 pm and Sun 11:30 am to 4:30 pm.

When you're out and about during A Day in Old New Castle this weekend, be sure to stop in to see it!
