We have summer camps like no other – across more than 65 acres of Historic Village and Nature Center open space, campers can experience 19th-century fun and games, or explore nature up close and get out on the trails. In accordance with state and local guidelines and to ensure the health and safety of staff and campers, GCV&M is working intently to modify class sizes and programs, and enforce health and safety protocols across the camp programs and Museum as a whole.
Weeks of July 20 and 27:
The Best of Earth Camp: Outdoor Adventures – The Nature Center is your play zone for this outdoor adventure! Kids will enjoy hiking, fishing, wading in Oatka Creek, learning basic survival skills, outdoor exploration and fun!
Weeks of August 3, 10, and 17:
19th Century Summer Sampler & Earth Camp - Campers discover the Pioneer Farm and sample life in the Historic Village, having fun learning about 19th-century trades, skills, and crafts. At Earth Camp, budding naturalists and outdoor adventurers will love exploring more than 600 acres of environmental preserve.
