Join us! Seasons in the Garden with a Nature Journal

Enjoy a creative, restorative morning in nature. Come stroll through the Cooper-Molera Gardens to find what sparks wonder with this season’s flowers and plants. On Saturday, October 17, 10am-11:30am, you’ll creatively capture your experience in a journal with guidance from naturalist and artist Melinda Nakagawa.

Nature journaling helps you to slow down, notice more, use playful easy ways to sketch, and deepen your enjoyment and connection to this beautiful place. A nature journal sketching kit will be provided, but feel free to bring your own favorite supplies.

Come prepared to learn how to make salvia babies. This family of plants offers a wide spectrum of colors, sizes, and leaf hues. Salvias are one of the best drought tolerant plants to add color and shape to your garden without taxing your water budget!

Led by our expert garden consultant and horticulturist, Isabella de Sibert from Stuck in the Mud, you will see how easy it is to propagate salvias. Join and learn how to easily add a new skill to your palette.

Tickets are non-refundable. 50% of proceeds support the Historic Garden League. Walk-ins are welcome.

Welcome the Autumn Equinox with flowers, creativity, and a beautiful fall day at Cooper-Molera Adobe.

Join us tomorrow Saturday, September 26 from 10 AM–1 PM for our Autumn Equinox Flower Bouquet Bar. Choose vibrant seasonal blooms, create your own arrangement, and wrap your bundle to take home.

All flowers are grown by a local, woman-owned farm.

Meet us in the Cooper Adobe Courtyard and make your own bouquet to welcome the season!
