THIS SATUDAY: Discover hands-on activities for all ages and skill levels during WheatonARTS Day!
✅ Join the studio team of artist J. Kenneth Leap for a hands-on Community Mural activity using parachute cloth. Led by Ian Leap and Ferdinand Maloney, this collaborative experience invites participants to create painted elements that will be incorporated into a larger mural.
✅ Participate with the Baltimore Noisemakers by building a one-string “canjo” instrument (limited one per person while supplies last)
✅ Enjoy our complimentary Family Art Workshop, Felt Finger Puppets.
✅ Create a fused glass magnet, pendant, or suncatcher in the Education Studio for a discounted fee of $10 per magnet/pendant and $20 per suncatcher.
✅ Join us for our outdoor Family Art Activities, where you can explore hands-on creativity by making tactile air-dry clay seed mosaics inspired by nature and playful colorful lenses that transform how you see the world.
This event is dedicated to WheatonArts’ mission to engage artists and audiences in an evolving exploration of creativity. WheatonArt’s Resident and Regional Artist Community will share their talents and expertise with our visitors.
See live artist demonstrations, participate in hands-on activities, enjoy live music by the Tabernacle Reggae Band as they bring the WheatonArts campus to life with interactive dancing, tour the Museum, shop the Museum Stores, and more! WheatonARTS Day will offer both free and fee-based activities and experiences of different skill levels that will create lasting memories for those who participate.
