Join us for our next Third Thursday Reading Program on June 18th @ 5:30 PM in our Visitors Center/Robin's Reading Room.

Our featured book is Lucy and the Enchanted Forest by J.P. Anthony Williams. It tells the tale of Lucy, who gets lost in an enchanted forest and meets all kinds of animals along the way! It is part of a larger series called The Adventures of Lucy & Her Big Heart.

Today is World Bicycle Day! Enjoy some great pictures of the Bush family on bikes. The first one is George H.W. and Barbara Bush in China while he served as ambassador. The second is a young George W. on a tricycle. The last picture is George W. with wounded vets.

‼️REMINDER‼️Our 2026 Summer Movie Series starts on June 9 with 1953's The War of the Worlds. Activities begin at 7:30 PM and showtime is at 8:30 PM in the backyard of the site.

Upon the film's release in Britain, their Board of Film Classification gave it an X rating due to alarming and horrifying content, meaning no one under 16 could watch it. It was later lowered two times by 1986 when the VHS release was given a PG rating.
