Today, we honor the extraordinary life and legacy of Yayoi Kusama, a visionary who transformed the world through art, imagination, repetition, and infinity.
In 2012, Kusama brought her unmistakable visual universe to Louis Vuitton, transforming fashion—including footwear—into a canvas for her iconic polka dots. The collaboration became a remarkable example of how an artist’s creative language can move beyond the gallery and into the objects we wear.
From the MIAMI Shoe Museum™ collection, we remember this extraordinary collaboration and celebrate an artist whose vision knew no boundaries.
