Sometimes I say yes to a custom piece before I fully know how I’m going to create it.
When I received the idea for this jacket, I had never painted anything quite like it before. But that’s been the story behind so many of my favorite pieces — accepting the challenge, trusting my hands, trusting my instinct, and letting the process show me the way.
And somehow, those are usually the pieces that surprise me the most.
This one became more than I imagined when I started. A reminder that sometimes you don’t need to know every step before you begin. You just need to trust what you’ve built inside you.
And to every person who has trusted me with an idea before seeing the final result — thank you.
