❤️ A BIG THANK YOU TO OUR AMAZING VOLUNTEERS! ❤️

The Massapequa Historical Society would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all of the wonderful volunteers who give their time, energy, and enthusiasm to help make our festivals and events such a tremendous success! 🍎🎉

From setting up and welcoming visitors to assisting our vendors, sharing local history, and helping behind the scenes, each and every volunteer plays an important role in keeping our community’s history alive.

📸 Here are just a few of the many incredible people who make it all possible! While we can’t feature everyone in these photos, please know that every helping hand, every smile, and every moment of your time is truly appreciated.

Our events would not be the same without your dedication, generosity, and love for our community. We are so grateful to have such a wonderful team of volunteers who help us preserve our past while creating lasting memories for the future.

THANK YOU for being the heart of the Massapequa Historical Society! ❤️🏛️

📚 A Wonderful Day Celebrating History in Massapequa! 🎉

The Massapequa Historical Society would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to author Paul Semendinger for joining us on Saturday, October 3rd, for a fascinating Book Talk featuring West Point at Gettysburg: Book 1! 🇺🇸

Paul shared captivating stories and insights into the history of Gettysburg, including fascinating details about our very own DeLancey Floyd-Jones, whose remarkable life and legacy we were proud to celebrate that same day on the 200th anniversary of his birth! 🎂

It was truly a special day, bringing together history enthusiasts to learn, share stories, and honor a remarkable Massapequan whose contributions deserve to be remembered for generations to come.

Thank you, Paul, for sharing your knowledge and passion for history with our community, and thank you to everyone who joined us for this memorable celebration!
