On Thursday, November 1st the museum will host Executive Director of the Oyster Bay Historical Society and Author Denice Evans-Sheppard for a presenation about her ancestor, David Carll, a free black man from Oyster Bay who served in the 26th United States Colored Troop Regiment in the Civil War. Copies of her book, Footsteps of a Forgotten Soldier, will be available for purchase.
Admission: $5; Free for members and students with valid ID
