What a great opportunity to learn!!

Have an interest in preserving history? Join Bobbie Watson Mathis president of the Union City Society for Historic Preservation, for a hands-on workshop focused on the cleaning, stabilization, repair, and preservation practices for historic headstones and cemetery features. Bobbie will provide a practical introduction to recognizing monument conditions, selecting appropriate methods, and approaching repairs with respect for historic materials.

The event is for adults; however, teens with an interest may attend. This program is a partnership between the Marshall District Library and the Marshall Rotary Club.

Meet at Oakridge Cemetery, 614 Homer Rd, Marshall, MI 49068 on Saturday, September 19, 1:00 - 4:00 pm.
