BREAKING NEWS...

ORIGINAL HOUDINI/HARDEEN MILK CAN ESCAPE TO BE ATTEMPTED AT MAGIC HISTORY WEEKEND!

An escape attempt from the original Houdini/Hardeen Milk Can in the collection of the American Museum of Magic will be made at the Midwest Magic History Weekend on the Saturday evening Gala Show - May 30th, 2015 at the Franke Center for the Arts in Marshall, Michigan. It will be exactly 70 years to the day after the final escape was made by Houdini's brother, Hardeen at his last show on May 30th, 1945.

The museum board has consented for this ONE TIME ONLY performance to be presented by escapologist, HATARI. This will be the last time the can will be filled with water. Hatari will be in real danger as he will be submerged in the antique can after the lid has been sealed with six padlocks.

Houdini debuted the escape in 1908 and it was later passed to Hardeen. Both had several close calls during their careers and in two instances had to be released from their cans to avoid drowning. Museum founder, Bob Lund acquired one of the three known Hardeen cans in the 1970's and it has been one of the highlights of the museum collection. The other cans are in the collections of David Copperfield and Timothy H Moore. (Moore owns the last can used on stage by Hardeen.)

This will be your ONLY opportunity to see this legendary mystery brought back to life on stage. Don't miss it!
