It's 6/9, we're celebrating BIRTH OF AN ANGEL, the debut solo exhibition by Wavy Angel.

For one night only, Superchief Gallery LA will be transformed into a series of immersive installations inspired by family, memory, culture, and the artist's Salvadoran heritage. Featuring photography, stained glass, projections, traditional Salvadoran dance performances by Grupos Pipiles y Coscatlán, pupusas, and a full-scale multimedia takeover of the gallery.

Wavy Angel talks growing up homeless, overcoming much of that negativity and darkness, and focusing on beauty is his art.

Wavy will be presenting his very first solo exhibition: BIRTH OF AN ANGEL on TUESDAY, June 9 from 7:00 PM - 12:00 AM.

Wavy Angel is a multifaceted creative director who will be presenting installations, projection, photography, stained glass, traditional Salvadoran dance performances, food, and more.

Here, Wavy Angel explains the inspiration and process behind his centerpiece installation, a miniature pueblo from El Salvador created to honor his grandmother and the nurturing role she played in his life.
