Color turned all the way up.

Outside The Gamut brings together Amber Goldhammer, Cynthia Coulombe-Bégin, Naguy Claude, Danny Brown, and Gary John, five artists whose work draws from street art, pop culture, abstraction, text, and familiar symbols.

Across the exhibition, bold palettes and recognizable imagery take on very different personalities, from playful and irreverent to layered, expressive, and graphic.

Outside The Gamut is now on view at Artspace Warehouse through October 23.

⭕ “Concentric Circles II” by Jamie Burmeister
“The colorful circles pull your eye to the tiny metal figure in the center, almost like the bullseye backdrop in an old cartoon. He’s clearly the star of the show, getting a well-deserved moment of recognition for his excellent work ethic.”

🌊 “Morning Mist and the Red Flower Reef” by Kai Liu
“A magnificent landscape! The way he employs color and form takes my breath away.”

🧍 “Mini Face” Series by Valerie Etitinwo
“Who doesn’t love a little guy? I love all of Valerie’s artworks, but these tiny expressions feel extra precious.”

🍣 “Sushi, Me” by Kellie Newsome
“Kellie’s food paintings always look so tasty; her choice of textures and colors gives her still lifes such wonderful character.”

✨ “Gold Moss” by Clara Berta
“The gold in this composition sparkles subtly as you move your eyes across the canvas. The painting is very calming to look at, and it catches my attention every time I pass it by.”

From LA to New York  

We had an amazing time bringing Artspace Warehouse to the Affordable Art Fair NY this year.

Four days surrounded by incredible art, artists, collectors, friends, and so many new faces. It was exciting to see our collection come together in New York and watch people discover the work in a whole new setting.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by, connected with us, and shared the experience. And thank you to Affordable Art Fair NYC for having us!

Not everything is so black and white, but this color hunt through the gallery definitely turned out that way. It is fun seeing how the *lack* of color can still have so much variety in composition and contrast.
