Jon Ching “Path of Least Resistance”

Jon Ching’s work has been driven by a sense of responsibility and reverence for the natural world. When the cosmos aligns… ☄️💫⭐️

Tomorrow is the last day to see two incredible shows by Rafael Silveira and Flávia Itiberê

The traces of an artist’s hand can never be duplicated by a digital image, nor can the energy exchanged between viewers and paintings when experiencing art in person.

It is as much about an energy exchange as it is about a material response.

Rafael Silveira and Flávia Itiberê have created an entire creative cosmos, bursting with color, imagination, beauty, and love. We hope some of that magic has come through in our posts, but there is simply no substitute for standing in the presence of these works, if you can.

Tomorrow, Saturday, September 26, is your last chance to experience the exhibition in person, from 12–6 PM.

We’ll have light refreshments from 4–6, so come raise a glass with us and leave with an injection of pure joy and positivity. ✨🥂

We could all use a little more of that right now. ❤️

Thanks to everyone who has visited, collected, or emailed us about the show from near and far. Our appreciation runs deep.

“Popsicledelic Trip”

Rafael Silveira re-signifies the popsicle as a visual mantra of emotional resilience and joy. Referencing ‘tavole centinate,’ these oil paintings are finished with ornately hand-carved wood frames that juxtapose medieval and early Renaissance periods with popular culture. These visual synonymies connect seemingly unrelated imagery, and brings the work into the realm of the sweet, ephemeral, and playful, while also recognizing the sacred history of art.

On view through September 26th at KP Projects, Los Angeles.
