Carving completed this week. Bust was started in a Jeff Phares class last month at Vic‘s studio in Leipers Fork. Stands 16” tall and 9” wide. Wood is butternut with tinted gel stain, wood bleach, and lacquer finishes.

Finished this afternoon. Carved from 8” tall Janet Cordell designed rough out. Acrylic paint.

Carved a twisted face in a piece of found driftwood from Percy Priest reservoir in a Vic Hood carving class last week. Wood is cedar 24” long 10” tall. The carved portion is polished and sealed with the weathered portion left as natural.
