Three afternoons left to pick the Kiwanis live auction.

The art for Kiwanis of Lander's Guns, Boots & Brands is on our walls, and this week you help decide what goes on the auction block. Stop by the Lander Art Center Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday from 2 to 7, take a few beads, and drop them in the jars beside the pieces you want to see auctioned. It takes about five minutes, and you don't need a ticket to vote.

The dinner is Friday, October 23, at the Lander Community Center: $50 a seat or $600 for a VIP table of eight, and tables are limited. Tickets are at the Lander Chamber of Commerce or from any Kiwanis member. Every dollar goes to Fremont County youth, and Kiwanis has given more than $40,000 to youth programs here in the last 12 months alone.

Artists, Thursday, October 22, is the last day to donate a piece.

Calling all artists! If drawing is your favorite medium, we have a class perfect for you. This course is beginner friendly and also caters to those with prior experience. Join us at the Lander Art Center to have fun with fellow illustrators and enhance your drawing and composition skills.

GBB Voting is Thursday 10/22 6-8pm. Meanwhile, you can continue to donate art work to the Lander Kiwanis. Drop off your donation before 10/22. Thank you for supporting Children’s activities in Lander through the Kiwanis and we will see you on Thursday 10/22 when the voting happens. Previews are currently on the wall. Stop in and take a look.

The pieces with the most votes will make it into the Guns Boots, and Brands live auction which will take place on October 23rd at the Lander Community Center. Doors open at 5PM and tickets are on sale at the Lander Chamber of Commerce.
