Located in the heart of Laconia, the Historic Belknap Mill is the Official Meetinghouse of NH. visit www.belknapmill.org/museum

Built in 1823, the Belknap Mill is the oldest, unaltered brick textile mill in the United States. The Belknap Mill was one of the first mills to convert from weaving to knitting during the Civil War. As one of the first listed buildings on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972, the Belknap Mill shows how preservation and history can combine in a community-based museum and cultural arts center.

We’re still riding the wave from our first Mill After Hours of 2026 — the Dueling Pianos had the whole place dancing and singing along! 💃

Now the countdown is officially on for our next Mill After Hours on July 1st, featuring live music from Jack Ancora, a gallery reception with Jeremy Bonin, and demos from members of the NH Weavers Guild.

It’s shaping up to be another unforgettable night, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back! 💙
