We had a fun morning in the Museum and Archives when the Lidiak sisters, along with their niece/daughter, came from the Houston area to help us identify a collection of photos donated by a Lidiak relative back in 2017. We made a little more progress and one sister even found a photo of herself! We really appreciate their help and look forward to another visit.

In case you're wondering, we provide scanned photos and short documents free of charge as long as you give credit to the Fayette Heritage Museum and Archives, La Grange, when you publish or post them online.

This morning storytime brought the country to the city! We went on a fun fall hayride courtesy of Mark Hermes and Texas Czech Heritage and Cultural Center! We also need to thank La Grange Farm & Ranch, Inc. for providing the hay bales and the La Grange, TX Police Department for our safety es**rt! We had such a fun time riding around town with our friends! We were stacking memories one bale at a time!
