Although this isn't Kingston it is about one of our neighboring companies and their new truck. Although the article isn't dated it is probably form the late 1950s. As we go through our collection of photos and articles we will be sharing information on Ulster County fire companies we find and we will be working on displaying them at the museum for everyone to enjoy.

Progress being made on Chief Weber. All the old paint is cleaned off and repairs to his hand and some minor plaster repairs will begin shortly. Then a fresh coat of paint. For a sculpture that was designed and created in 1883 he is in remarkably good shape other than paint as seen in the photos taken prior to the restoration work beginning

A part of our collection of photographs includes a number of photos for surrounding communities. These photos fro May 1928 of a massive fire in Catskill are part of that collection. We don't have any other information about the fire at this time but we are researching this to be able to share more of the history of this incident.

The Kingston Candy Bar is celebrating the annual Muster with a celebration Sundae and will be donating $2 to the museum for each Celebration Sundae sold!
Our friends at Volunteer Firemen's Museum-Kingston NY are celebrating their annual muster today! The Candy Bar is helping to celebrate the museum and the volunteers who keep this gem going. $2 will be donated to the museum from every purchase of our Red White and Blue Celebration Sundae through 8pm tonight!
This is it....there is exactly one week left to participate in this fundraiser that I am running for the Volunteer Firemen's Museum & Hall ---- extended until 8-23-21!!! Avon is not just makeup ---- there are so many choices --- how about purchasing your cleaning products or fashion products from Avon???

Now is the time to place your order ...The Muster is on August 21st but you have until August 23rd to shop - Shop this link: www.avon.com/fundraiser/volfiremenhallmuseum
You will helping me to get closer to my Avon goal and you will will be helping this organization.
Several folks have asked me "how can I help you to achieve your Avon goal as there is nothing that I need from Avon". What would you think about making a donation to purchase these great Encouragement Bracelets for under $10 each to be donated to the fundraiser that I am currently running for the Volunteer Firemen's Museum & Hall of Kingston for their Annual Muster this coming August 21st?

Shop this link: www.avon.com/fundraiser/volfiremenhallmuseum

If you are willing to do this, pm me and I will provide you with the ship address that these bracelets should ship to - the museum will receive $3.50 for each bracelet that is sold - and then will be able to present the bracelets to those who participate in the Muster on the 21st (and you are helping me to reach my Avon goal for the year!) I hope you will consider making a purchase.
