A special presentation for a special day!

Town Manager, Susan Cockrell, on behalf of the Town of Kilmarnock presented Carroll Lee Ashburn with a commemorative plaque honoring the proclamation of Carroll Lee Ashburn Day in recognition of his lifetime of service and dedication to our community.

If you’d like to congratulate Carroll Lee in person, stop by the Kilmarnock Museum today between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to wish him a happy 94th birthday and celebrate this well-deserved honor! 🎉

Update: an additional showing has been added for Monday June 29 at 7PM.

Some celebrities at Compass Entertainment Complex tonight for the premiere of Northern Neck 250, a new documentary showcasing our local history around the time of the revolution. Richard Henry Lee with George and Martha Washington. Tickets for the already scheduled shows are sold out but an additional showing is being considered. Let the theater know if you want them to add another screening and if another is added tickets will be available at the Kilmarnock Museum.
