The Lexington County Museum offers a rare & unforgettable experience with structures & artifacts that focus on the everyday lives of Lexington County residents from the colonial period to the Civil War. Located on 7 acres of land in downtown Lexington, the Museum features 30 historic structures including the oldest house in Lexington. The Museum features locally made furniture, textiles, pottery, and weapons. Visit the Museum to experience a way of life gone forever!

The Lexington County Museum mourns the loss of Andy Thomas, the curator of the Cayce Museum. Andy was a wonderful historian and an amazing human being. He volunteered often with the Lexington County Museum and helped preserve the rich history of the Cayce area. He will be missed.
