One question we often receive is: “Do we need to remove everything before moving our house?”

Not necessarily. Depending on the move, furniture, appliances, and even houseplants may be able to stay right where they are. In many ways, your home can move just as you live in it, with the familiar pieces of everyday life still inside.

Here’s a story we always love to share.

To demonstrate how stable and level we keep a house throughout the move, we once placed a glass of water on the kitchen table before the journey began. When the house arrived at its new site, the glass was still there — not a drop had spilled.

We bring decades of experience, precise planning, and deep care to every move, paying close attention to every detail along the way.

Of course, every move is different. Our project manager can help you understand what can safely remain inside your home before moving day.
