It’s Womenfest Eve!

Before the festivities officially begin tomorrow, we want to take a moment to say a HUGE thank you to the businesses, organizations, and individuals who have helped make Key West Womenfest 2026 possible.

Did you know that the Key West Woman's Club is the oldest non-profit in Key West? Beyond preserving our historic Hellings Curry Museum, we are also dedicated community advocates. Through the sale of our restaurant cards, we raise vital funds to support other local charities. Happy Happy Fourth of July from the Key West Woman’s Club! 🇺🇸

When our Club was founded in 1915, the American flag had only 48 stars.
This July, we are proud to have our historic 48-star flag on display at the Hellings Curry Museum. She is worn, faded, frayed, and not perfect — and that is exactly what makes her so special. 💕
Be sure to come see this beautiful piece of American history, Key West history, and our Club’s proud legacy throughout the month of July.

This week we’re shining the spotlight on Dee Johnson, a member known for her incredible creativity, flair, and unmistakable pizzazz!

Dee has generously shared her decorating and design talents with the Key West Woman’s Club through events such as our Conch Country Dance Party and Denim to Diamonds—just to name a few!—helping transform ordinary spaces into unforgettable experiences.

Her artistic gifts extend far beyond our club. Dee’s exceptional sewing and design skills are even showcased at the Motorsports Hall of Fame of America in Daytona Beach—a testament to her craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Thank you, Dee, for bringing beauty, creativity, and enthusiasm to everything you do. We are grateful to have you as part of our KWWC family! 💎✨
