A few of the bigger pots I’ve been working on lately.
The size of my kiln sets the outer limit—but I’m having a lot of fun recreating some of my signature shapes on a larger scale.
Each form has its own personality, and together they feel like quite a gathering.

Bold black surfaces, warm geometric lines, and small touches of color—the Memphis Blues pattern brings a quiet rhythm to the table.
Each plate is handmade in our Key West studio, with subtle variations that make every piece its own. Designed for everyday meals, long conversations, and tables that feel collected rather than matched.
Available at Shade Ceramics and Shutter Photography in Key West. Shipping nationwide.

IBack in the Pottery Studio After Knee Replacement

Returning to the pottery wheel after knee replacement surgery has been a lesson in patience, recovery, and rediscovering the pleasure of making.
There’s something wonderful about getting back to familiar studio rituals—the clay, the tools, the wheel, and the quiet concentration of building a large form one pull at a time.
Eight weeks after surgery, I’m not finished healing, but I’m back where I belong.

Some pieces ask to be picked up.
This bowl was designed to settle naturally into your hands — sturdy, comforting, and balanced. The soft curve and dark clay body make it feel almost grounding to hold. The kind of piece that quietly becomes part of your daily routine.
Handmade in small batches in our Key West gallery and studio.
