I thought *Orange Blossom Morning* was going to be a quick little painting.

It had other ideas.

What started as a simple portrait of a rescued Florida panther slowly became a celebration of Florida's natural beauty, with orange blossoms, a mockingbird, and a zebra longwing butterfly all finding their way into the painting.

Let the summer festivities begin ‼️For me that means beach days.
I’m going to try and squeeze in a little beach time this week.
I have the yearly pass to the Florida State Parks,
So I try to take a late afternoon swim 🏊 on days when my painting is finished by 4-ish.

Vacation was fun! Family fun included celebrations 🎉, 🎂, evening horse racing 🐎 at Churchill Downs, and numerous food feasts.
Even the flights ✈️ were stress-free. 😊
